Court Advice Project

Court Advice Project

West Lothian Court Advice Project is funded by the Scottish Legal Aid Board. It is a joint partnership project with CAB West Lothian and West Lothian Council.

The advice needs of the client group are not currently met through any other provision. West Lothian Council Advice Shop and Citizens Advice Bureau rely on this vital service.

The advice project offers independent advice to people in West Lothian who are facing repossession or eviction due to mortgage or rent arrears. Independent advice is also given on small claims, including form completion, supporting clients through the court process.

Feel free to download our guides on:

In addition, representatives can offer lay representation at court for those facing eviction for rent arrears, mortgage arrears and small claims at Livingston Sheriff Court.
