Commenting on the service, Karen McGhee CAB Manager said,

Many local people are struggling to make ends meet because the cost of living is going up, meanwhile incomes are falling.  This discrepancy is squeezing many households’ finances.  34% of all the people who came to CAB last year asked for help with financial issues.  The scale of the local crisis is greater than ever now and we need to make a special effort to offer more help.
