Please say what you have been doing for the last few years. We are not looking for work experience. Caring for family members or being unemployed also brings useful experience.

Please describe any skills you have which may be relevant to administrative work. All sorts of skills and previous work experience are relevant; some examples could be dealing with the public, using the telephone, filing, interviewing.

You do not need formal qualifications to be an advice worker but we are interested in any education you have attained, including evening classes or training courses.

Your availability

The successful operation of our bureau depends on the reliability and co-operation of its volunteers. We look for at least one full day or two half days (4 hours per session) commitment each week after basic training.
